It is hoped this 2008 Day of Ideas will discuss how we might make reparation for the wrongs done that we've apologised for.

Speakers include:

  • Fred Chaney AO, a Director of Reconciliation Australia
  • Jill Churnside, Chairwoman Ngarluma Aboriginal Corporation
  • Carly Davenport-Acker, Project Manager, Canning Stock-Route Project, FORM
  • Patrick Dodson, Chairperson Kimberley Development Commission, Chairman Lingari Foundation
  • Jim Morrison, Co-Convenor, Bringing them Home Committee WA
  • Richard Walley AOM, playwright, musician & actor

The audience will be invited to ask questions and engage in discussion throughout the day in order to allow for the exchange of important ideas. There will be an informal session at the end of the day for the audience and speakers to further debate and discuss ideas.

Manning Clark House Inc. is a national scholarly and cultural organisation based in the former home of Professor Manning Clark, Australia's best-known historian, and his wife, translator and linguist Dymphna Clark.

Early registration is recommended as places are limited.

The preferred method of registration and payment is via the shopping cart by VISA or Mastercard. All payments are made in Australian Dollars. Fees are inclusive of 10% GST.

On submission of your registration, your information and credit card details will be encrypted and securely forwarded for processing. An email confirming payment and registration will be sent to your nominated email address. Please retain this email as it is your TAX INVOICE and will be the only receipt sent.

Reprints of Tax Invoice and/or receipts will be subject to a $15 administration fee, payable in advance.
