Professor Pykett was appointed Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching) in 2002 and became Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research and Staffing) in 2005 at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.

She shared her insights on her role as Pro-Vice Chancellor and the issues for women in leadership roles.

The seminar was hosted by Professor Robyn Owens.
