An Evening With Dr Michael Mosley on The Clever Guts Diet
Boffins Books, The City of Perth Library and the UWA Institute of Advanced Studies and Office of Research Enterprise are proud to welcome Michael Mosely back to Perth for a presentation around The Clever Guts Diet.
The Clever Guts Diet is a book that celebrates this hugely underrated organ and shows you what you need to do to keep it in prime condition. In this public lecture, BBC Science journalist Michael Mosley will discuss how your gut communicates with your body and mind, and explains why your biome affects your weight, your health and even your happiness. The talk will be followed by a short Q&A with the audience.
Dr Michael Mosley is the author of The Clever Guts Diet, The 8-Week Blood Sugar Diet, and the co-author, with Mimi Spencer, of the #1 New York Times bestseller The Fast Diet, which has been published in over thirty-two languages around the world. He is also co-author, with Peta Bee, of Fast Exercise and wrote the foreword for The Fast Diet Recipe Book by Mimi Spencer and Dr Sarah Schenker and the foreward for The 8-Week Blood Sugar Diet Recipe Book. Michael Mosley trained to be a doctor at the Royal Free Hospital in London before joining the BBC, where he has been a science journalist, executive producer, and, more recently, a well-known television personality. He has won numerous television awards and was named medical journalist of the year by the British Medical Association.
There will be an opportunity to purchase the book from Boffins Books on the night, and to have your copy signed by the author.
