Political scientist Dr Emanuele Ottolenghi, executive director of Brussels' Transatlantic Institute, will consider the prospects for the establishment of a Palestinian state in the current circumstances, considering the political and strategic situation in Israel and the surrounding region. As author of numerous scholarly articles, essays and books, including most recently, “Under a Mushroom Cloud: Europe, Iran and the Bomb” (Profile Books, 2009) Dr Ottolenghi is eminently qualified to present this subject.
