David Ritter is an Editor of The New Critic, a lawyer and an historian at the University of Western Australia.

Dr Martin Forsey teaches in Anthropology at UWA with particular research interests in social class, race and ethnicity, the organisation of schools, education policy and critical theory.

Fred Argy OBE AM is one of Australia’s most celebrated economists, having advised Australian governments from Menzies to Keating.  His works include Where to from here? Australian Equalitarianism under threat and Australia at the Crossroads: Radical Free Market or a Progressive Liberalism?

Stephen Smith is the Federal Shadow Minister for Education and Training and the Member for Perth.

Lucy Young is an articled clerk. She enjoys snorkelling and reading about politics.

Melanie Book has degrees in law and history from the University of Western Australia and works as a lawyer at Freehills in Perth.

Anna Maley-Fadgyas has recently returned to Perth to join UWA Press as Designer.

Geoff Warn is Professor of Architecture at Curtin University of Technology. He is a co-founding partner of Donaldson & Warn, Architects, established in 1985. A project by Geoff was selected for the 2006 Australian exhibition at the Venice Biennale.

Simon Thackrah holds degrees in law and politics from the University of Western Australia.

Andrew Thackrah is a postgraduate student in the School of Humanities(History) at the University of Western Australia. He is also a co-editor of The New Critic.

Marcus Priest is the Legal Affairs Editor for the Australian Financial Review.
