Paul Kelly is Editor-at-Large of The Australian. He was previously Editor-in-Chief of The Australian (1991-1996). He writes on Australian and international issues and is a regular commentator on television.

Carmen Lawrence is a former Premier of Western Australia and national President of the Labor Party. She retired from politics in 2007 and is now a Professorial Fellow at the University of Western Australia where she is working to establish a centre to undertake research and to facilitate discussion on the processes of persuasion and indoctrination and the factors contributing to the development of fanatical ideas and extreme, including violent, behaviour.

Sophie Loy-Wilson is a second-year PhD student in History at the University of Sydney, where she received her BA (Hons) in History in 2006.

Michael L. Ondaatje is a Lecturer in American History at the University of Newcastle.

David Ritter is The New Critic's London based Editor-at-Large.

Daniel Vujcich is a UWA Arts/Law graduate, and is the 2008 Rhodes Scholar for Western Australia.
